Pastor Tom leads the college students and men of UBC by teaching, encouraging, and counseling both individuals and groups through the study of God’s word, prayer, and fellowship with one another. Our College Ministry and Men’s Ministry seek to make disciples who are Gospel-Centered, Bible-Focused, and Christ-Exalting.

BIO
Tom was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. During Tom’s high school years, God mercifully opened his eyes to see his personal need for salvation and brought Tom to saving faith. In a time when Tom was living for teenage idols and cultivating a love for self-glory, God’s word and Spirit powerfully clarified the guilt of sin and the sufficiency of Christ as Savior and Lord. Tom spent many months reading his Bible, at first on his own and then with other believers who also shared the gospel with him, as the Lord worked in Tom’s life to draw him to Himself.
Tom graduated from Willamette University in 2012 with a BA in Economics and in Spanish Language. After graduation, Tom worked a few years in Bozeman before beginning the pastoral internship program here at University Bible Church. In 2019 Tom graduated from Western Seminary with a Masters of Divinity.
Tom married his lovely wife, Alice, in August 2015. In God’s providence, Tom and Alice were good friends for seven years before they married, serving together as college students in the campus ministry at Willamette University.
